Burlap is perfect for a DIY jewelry display. The woven texture is made for hanging wire earrings. I thought I would paint it to not only change the color but also keep it from fraying. I just used some interior house paint I had lying around. It works great!   Here's a close up:   Ended up trying black and white. Both are pretty cool

Spotted at my sister's apartment: A genius method of organizing and displaying her wire earrings. She gets these cool decorative placemats at the dollar store and then hangs them on the wall. They're plastic so they're strong enough to hold everything up. So cool!

I came across these beautiful vintage cheese graters over the weekend and I instantly started thinking about how I could re-purpose them.  Something tells me I shouldn't eat cheese grated with these.   We're always looking for new and interesting ways to store and display jewelry. I thought these would be perfect! The different size holes can fit wires and clip earrings and they have larger holes so I can easily hang them up with a nail or a screw.  Small holes for wires or posts.  Big holes for clip earrings.    There are lots of other cool ways to...
